Summarise your role in one paragraph
I have recently moved across from the wayleave team, to start a new role within the legal division as a Paralegal. My new position is heavily centred around managing incoming queries – including wayleave agreement amendments, and ensuring these comply with the Code and individual client requirements.
What is your favourite part of your position at Trenches Law?
Definitely the teamwork! Having worked in two different teams at Trenches Law, I can honestly say that it really does feel like a family. Everyone is so supportive and friendly, and no one is ever too busy to help out – which makes the job so much more enjoyable.
Which one word do you think your colleagues would use to describe you?
Approachable – I hope! As with everyone at Trenches Law, I try my best to always be available if, and when, anyone needs my help.
What word do you think best describes Trenches Law?
Friendly – although it might sound cliché, the company and all of its employees really do create that kind of environment. I think that’s really important when you work so closely together.
What’s been the most satisfying moment of your Trenches Law career so far?
When I was nominated for an award! It was amazing to receive such acknowledgement from my colleagues, and know that my work is valued and making a difference. Having worked in places where you didn’t really get that level of recognition, I love that it’s seen as a priority at Trenches Law.
If one of your colleagues could win an award (industry or office-related) who would it be and why?
It would be so difficult to pick any one person within the company. That’s why the opportunity to celebrate the work of different colleagues each month is so special.
It’s great to see Trenches Law winning industry award after industry award as well – because we all get to feel part of that accomplishment. So, I suppose I’d just like to see the company win another industry honour, and we can all celebrate together!
What are your hopes for Trenches Law in the coming year?
To keep growing and being successful. I really feel like part of the family, and I’m so proud of the continued progress we’re making in the industry – from the launch of new services to securing esteemed awards.
