Summarise your role in one paragraph
In my position as a Wayleave Officer, I’m heavily involved in a national programme to upgrade existing mobile cell sites for 5G capability. A large part of my working day is taken up with obtaining signed wayleave agreements from freeholders of private land, buildings, and cell site providers.
What is your favourite part of your position at Trenches Law?
The best part of the job is the detective work! I enjoy investigating who the appropriate contact is for the relevant cell sites – which can in some cases be multiple people if the proposed works are spread across several parcels of land.
Which one word do you think your colleagues would use to describe you?
Organised!

Progressive.

What do you love about the office?
I’m yet to properly venture into the office as I joined Trenches Law at the very beginning of the third lockdown. Working from home has been enjoyable, thanks to the lovely and supportive team – I never find myself feeling alone!
If one of your colleagues could win an award (industry or office-related) who would it be and why?
Katie Fosten who joined on the exact same day as me! She’s been so incredibly helpful since day one and I appreciate everything she does to help me and the rest of the team. Katie is a huge asset to Trenches Law, and I’d be lost without her!
What are your hopes for Trenches Law in the coming year?
I hope we maintain our consistent and rapid growth – and continue to thrive!
