What is the first thing you do to get the weekend started?
Turn off my laptop and pour myself a glass of wine. And if I have no plans to go out, I’ll have a bath and get in my pyjamas!
What is your hobby?
Not a hobby as such, but (at the moment, virtually) socialising with my friends is important to me. I went to two different universities and therefore have friends from all across the country. I also enjoy watching live music – ranging from West End shows to Stormzy!
What is your favourite movie?
It has to be ‘Bridesmaids’ – I’ve seen it so many times and it’s still just as funny. But I also love the Harry Potter films.
If you hadn’t been successful at what you do, what would you be doing instead as a career?
I think my career would have gone in the direction of politics or journalism – although when I was five, I did want to be either a barrister or a surgeon!
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
I’d like to read minds – but then I’m not entirely sure I’d want to know what everyone thought of me! Maybe move objects with my mind, like Roald Dahl’s character ‘Matilda’.
What is your favourite genre of music?
I seriously like a bit of everything. My taste ranges from Lewis Capaldi to My Chemical Romance – it’s incredibly varied.
If you could travel to any moment in time where would you go?
It wouldn’t be the future, that’s for certain. I never met my grandad, who died before I was born, so I’d like to go back in time to meet him.
