We’re an FSB regional award winner!

Our wayleave automation solution has won the Business and Product Innovation category in the South East’s ‘FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards’!

Celebrating the news during the virtual and in-person ceremony, this accolade will be added to the Trenches Law trophy cabinet – and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Plus, following the fantastic win announcement, this means we’re also now in the running for the UK final of the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards on May 19th in Glasgow.

The award submission focused on our innovative tool which accelerates clients’ builds and handles tens of thousands more wayleaves per week – by automating the investigation, creation, and distribution of agreements, without additional human resources.

Our solution – launched during the Covid-19 pandemic – was in response to recognising that 20-30% of properties in a build project require wayleave consent, and we know exactly how complex, costly and time-consuming these applications can be.

Taking over 600 hours to develop, we brought the system to market enabling clients to send a digital map of their network build phase to us, which then automatically interrogates the Land Registry and other available databases, to identify all relevant wayleave stakeholders, and preparing everything for distribution.

Speaking about the FSB award win, our Managing Director Sharon McDermott, said: “This is a fantastic accolade and one we’re very proud of as a team as it combines exciting innovation, employee collaboration and client problem-solving.

“To be recognised as having an award-winning product in our region is truly special and we’re looking forward to the UK final in May.”
