This certification represents a significant step forward in our commitment to excellence, so that our customers have access to subject matter experts and can rely on us to provide the necessary information — making projects run as smoothly as possible.
Having already completed the Level 2 Passive Fire Protection course last year, Claire was eager to enhance her expertise and decided to take her knowledge to the next level by pursuing the ABBE Level 3 Award through the Fire Protection Association, of which Trenches has been a member since July 2023.
It’s crucial that Trenches works to continuously upskill our team members, making sure we’re familiar with the latest knowledge and best practice in all areas where we offer clients advice, and Claire’s award is evidence that as a business, we make this a priority.
Additionally, Claire’s certification aligns perfectly with our mission to help close the digital divide. With the recent granting of Code powers to Trenches Law by Ofcom, we’re poised to assist operators in rolling out full-fibre broadband into multi-dwelling units (MDUs) and multi-business units (MBUs), bringing high-speed internet access to even more communities across the UK. Claire’s expertise in passive fire protection adds another layer of assurance to clients when it comes to delivering these projects.
And Claire’s new skills will also support our customers in meeting the UK Government’s goal of making 300,000 EV charging points available by 2030, as her expertise will help to streamline installation projects by providing knowledge and insight when it comes to access.
As we continue on our journey to make gigabit-capable, full fibre roll-outs a reality across the UK — and deliver on EV infrastructure aims — we’re committed to delivering straight-talking, business-changing legal support that accelerates progress in our dynamic industry.
